When walking along the creek, as I was this morning, I love to touch the Touch-Me-Not Flower. If you pinch the slender green pod, it explodes in your fingers. Curly threaded fronds and seeds come bursting out.
This flower is also known as jewelweed. What you take for a weed may hold a jewel. You'll likely pass it by. "Why...do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, 'Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!'"*
Be willing to touch the untouchable.
*Actually, this is a verse from the Bible. (Col 2:21)
