Le Wire

Little bits of wire. All around us, making things work. Today I switched out a small cable to my computer stereo that was twisted and old and only worked if you looped it just right over the monitor and threaded it around the desk, and didn't accidentally touch it. If not curled in the precise position, the wire would fail, and the sound would blip and fade out.

Took me all of ten minutes and twelve bucks to run to the electronics store and replace it. Now, without worry of bumping the computer and losing sound, I can listen to Pandora radio again, and my station for today, Nickel Creek.

I've put up with the old cable problem for, I dunno, eight months? Maybe a year.

What annoyances are you ignoring? Make a list of what you might be putting up with that could easily be resolved. Now fix one thing.
